Treatment

Our dedicated treatment team is split into two services, one for adults and the other for young people.

The adults service is called the james kingham project (jkp) and provides a safe, comfortable environment for people who wish to resolve and alcohol issue. jkp can help individuals who are experiencing problems due to their own use of alcohol, we can also support those who are affected by other peoples use of alcohol. jkp is a confidential and free service.

The young peoples service is called PUKE. PUKE is the specialist alcohol service for young people in Bedfordshire and Luton. We are not against alcohol but we talk to young people about its effects to your body and how it changes the way you act and think. If you know what the risks are, then you can make your own choice about drinking. We talk to young people about sensible drinking levels and staying safe if you are drinking or around other people who are drinking. We also help young people to have the confidence to say NO to alcohol if they want to.
